December 100 Cartridge Blog Hop Day Two

Good morning and welcome to Day 2 of the Erica's Craft Room 100 Cartridge Blog Hop. If you arrived at my blog from Rosa, then you are on the right track. If you just came to visit me, please start at the beginning with Erica's Craft Room so you dont miss all the wonderful things in day 2 of our hop. The line up with the web links is listed below.

I have been working every night to finish this advent calendar and I have two confessions to make. First and most importantly is that I borrowed this idea from Creations by Christina. I saw this last year and knew I wanted to make one. I even cut the page shapes out last year and ran out of time to make it. Second, with working and home responsibilities, I did not get it finished. I am up to page 12 and hope I get it done this week so I can display it. Get ready for a lot of photos and at the end, I will list which cartridges I used.

1 Poinsettia - Celebrate with Flourish
2 Reindeer - Jolly Holiday
3 Ornament - Winter Frolic
4 Elf - Jolly Holidays
5 Seasons Greetings - Winter Wonderland
6 Snowman - Speaking of Winter
7 Penguin - Simply Charmed
8 Wreath - Jolly Holidays
9 North Pole - Jolly Holidays
10 Gingerbread - Stretch Your Imagination
11 Christmas Wishes - Winter Frolic
12 Ribbons and Rosettes

All of the numbers came from Winter Woodland and the scalloped circles are from Mini Monograms. Your next stop is the fabulous Enjoli http://Mississippihippycrafts.blogspot.com/. If you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up:

Oh and before you go, I will be offering some blog candy which will include a white Signo Uniball pen that I use absolutely all the time! They are wonderful for all those little highlights I add to many of my projects! Please leave a comment and a way to reach me and I would love for you to follow too!!

Hopping By to Say Hi

I made this little card for a challenge for the Grillin and Chillin Blog Hop on Bug Bites blog
http://bugbites411.blogspot.com/2011/06/grillin-n-chillin-bug-hop-part-2.html

We had to choose a bug that was hidden among the hoppers and make a card with it on it. I chose the little grasshopper from Stretch Your Imagination. Of course I had to give him a Peachy Keen face after hiding the cut details on my Gypsy. I also used my new Elegant Edges for the shape behind the grasshopper. Love that cartridge...so many beautiful shapes!! The card base was made using Lacy Labels. I am not sure what the size was...I had cut it previously when I made my nephew's birthday card and I saved it to use later.

Layout for JInger's Facebook challenge

I am entering this layout for the challenge posted on Jinger Adam's from Provo Craft's Facebook page. The papers are from the Flower Shower Spring Stack by DCWV, the scalloped circle is from Mini Monograms cut at 11", the sentiment You Make Me Melt is from Just Because Cards, and the ice cream cones are from Stretch Your Imagianation.  I also added a strip using the Threading Water punch at the top of the middle picture.  The cute photos are of our granddaughter.  I hope to post something tomorrow with photos of our grandson....he is a cutie too!!

Birthday card for DH

I made a quick and easy card for my husband using Stretch Your Imagination, Studio G stamp, paper from the Green Stack by DCWV.  I also used my Cuttlebug with the folder I got from Stampin Up (sorry, I cant remember the name of it) on the tree.He has been looking at an apple tree that is a hybrid with four kinds of apples that will grow on it.  I stopped at Meijer's and bought it for him so I made this card to match his gift.
