December 100 Cartridge Blog Hop Day Two

I have been working every night to finish this advent calendar and I have two confessions to make. First and most importantly is that I borrowed this idea from Creations by Christina. I saw this last year and knew I wanted to make one. I even cut the page shapes out last year and ran out of time to make it. Second, with working and home responsibilities, I did not get it finished. I am up to page 12 and hope I get it done this week so I can display it. Get ready for a lot of photos and at the end, I will list which cartridges I used.

Birthday card using French Manor

I needed a birthday card for my daughter in law and wanted to try to use my French Manor cartridge. I used a Cuttlebug folder, and also used Lacy Labels.  The dress is made from red satin fabric with black sparkle tulle for the overlay on the skirt.  The ribbon is also a piece of the black tulle. I wish I had made this about a week ago as the Cricut Circle Blog had a challenge that ended on Thursday.  Oh well better late than never!  I have one more card to make today so stay tuned for the next post!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

I hurried and finished my card for the My Pink Stamper challenge this morning.  I finally used my Celebrate with Flourish cartridge and I love this wreath.  It took me a few minutes to get the layers lined up and I actually had to go look at a picture to get it right but the cuts really go together easily.  The stamp is from Stampin Up and the ribbon is a recycled one that I think I got off a holiday basket from a few years ago.  Would love to have more like it though....so pretty.  I also used a Cuttlebug folder (don't remember the name of it) for the background.
