Scrapbook Saturday at My Cricut Craft Room

Today, I am being featured on http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ for Scrapbook Saturday. Today's layout was made using Robotz and Pop Up Neighborhood. I used my new Build A Banner stamps and die set from My Creative Time. The word play was cut at 1" using Robotz. The sun above it was cut from Pop Up Neighborhood (3.50"). The word Lets was cut at 2 inches from Songbird after I welded it with my Gypsy. If you look closely you will see that I took two sheets of off white cardstock from the DCWV Christmas and Winter cardstock stack. The 2nd sheet was cut down to 11 inches square and then inked with Pumpkin Chalk ink. I added stitches on the left and at the bottom using some orange and white and teal and white twine. The banner was placed on the page with some teal and white twine too. The printed papers came from the DCWV Citrus stack. On the orange mat behind the photos, I machine stitched with some teal thread.

The photos are ones that I took of my adorable grandchildren a couple of years ago playing hide and seek in their backyard playset. Love those photos!

Happy Birthday and many "mower"

My brother in law's birthday is tomorrow and I made him this mower card for this birthday. The mower has lots of layers that I pop dotted in between to give it more dimension. I cut this from our Cricut Circle exclusive cartridge, Pop Up Neighborhood. The clouds and grass are from Everyday Paper Dolls and the shape for the card is from Elegant Edges (which I welded with my Gypsy to create the card shape)
