Guest Designer on Anna Bee Designs

I was honored to be a guest designer over on Sweet Anna Bee Design's blog today. She asked for me to make a Valentine's Day card and so I actually made two! One for my grandson (elephant card) and one for my granddaughter (Kangaroo card). I started with a card sketch that I found on Tsunami Rose Designs http://tsunamirosedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/02/i-love-sketches-by-tsunami-rose-day-2.html I used Birthday Bash and cut the animals at 3.50" The shapes behind the animals were cut in two layers using Mini Monograms and Art Philosophy. Card Creating Tuesday - Use Embossing powders

Today is one of the favorites for our team....Card Creating Tuesday. I really love making cards but this one was not one of my best. I had been really sick over the weekend with a really horrible cold so I had trouble trying to decide what to do.

For this date, we were to use embossing powder or make a get well card. Mine is actually a card I made for my nephew who just graduated from law school. I used Wild Card and Mini Monograms. I also used a Pink By Design stamp from the Just Breathe set. I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink and then used Zing embossing powder.

Birthday Card - Billionaire

This card was made for my brother's birthday. I cut the car at 2 inches from the Billionaire cartridge. The scalloped circle behind it was cut at 3 1/2 inches from Mini Monograms. The banner with the stamped sentiment is from Winter Frolic. I used my Gypsy and changed the size to fit my card. It was 1.50 inches in height and 4 in width ( I think...I forgot to write it down!)

Cricut Circle Stampede Swarm Challenge #3

Our 3rd challenge for the online swarm was a set of note cards that were to be made using a tutorial supplied by Caroline (Doxieluv01). I got busy this morning and completed the challenge. This is such a cute and fun project to make and it doesnt really take a lot of time either. I will try to add instructions later today. I need to write them down as I just followed along with her instructions as I was making mine.
