Ericas Craft Room Theme Thursday - Easter Eggs and Grass

This was the sketch and here is what I made with it!

My project today was inspired by Mary at Cardz TV. She made this cute little bunny on one of her videos and I thought my grandkids would love it too so I borrowed her idea and incorporated it into my card. I used Art Philosophy for the egg card shape. The card was cut at 5.50 inches. I also cut the green polka dot paper at the same size for the front of the card. The little fence was cut using Paper Doll Dress Up and I used my Gypsy to resize it to 5 x 1.75 inches. I still had to cut a little off of it after I glued it to my card. The bunny came from the Doodlecharms cartridge and is 2.50 inches. His face is from the Peachy Keen Critter set (PK-754). I added some white pen to accent his nose and the top it with some Glossy Accents to make it shiny. His little hands are just little circles cut at 1/2 inch using Plantin Schoolbook. The flowers were cut at 2 inches from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I also added some yellow Stickles to add some sparkle and color . The last finishing touch was a little twine tied around the egg shaped silhouette shape.

I am also entering this into Erica's challenge for March 20th to March 27th. It might be too late for you to enter this particular challenge but you can enter your projects for the new challenges that she will be posting!! Indy Meet Up!

I had a fun time at the Meet Up! Everyone was so nice and Shannon from Provo Craft was awesome!! We had a contest where we had to dress a wooden cut out of the doll from Paper Doll Dress Up. I couldn't come up with anything really original or inspiring so I decided that I would make a leprechaun to use to decorate for St Paddy's Day. There were so many really cute dolls! Some had curly hair and cute Cricut outfits. I was shocked that mine won!! I received some embossing dies for my Cuttlebug. Yay!

We all got the little stuffed Cricut and that is what I really wanted. Everyone won a prize for attending and I won a Tshirt. One lucky lady won an Imagine!

Halloween Treat Bags

My cute grandbabies are dressing as pirates this year. I made toppers for their treat bags to match their costumes (see the Paper Doll Dress Up posts for last year's bags). Can't wait to see them all dressed up!!!
