My Cricut Craft Room - Imagine, E2, Mini or CCR cartridges

It is Monday and for today, I chose to do a project using the E2 exclusive cartridge, Just A Note. I also decided to make it tie in with the sketch and color challenge on Erica's challenge blog http://ericascraftroomchallenges.blogspot.com/ . Please make sure you check out her challenge blog and join us for some fun!

Here is the sketch and color scheme that Erica chose for us to use:

I looked at the Just A Note cartridge that was added to my anniversary E2 and found the cute little pinwheels. I cut them at 3.50 inches in the three colors, blueberry, apple, and grape. I also cut the doily from Sophie and it was cut at 5 inches (grape) and 4.85 inches in white.

I added the sentiment and double stamped it in apple and grape colors using an old acrylic stamp that says Hello!

Our design members could choose to use the cartridges for the Imagine, E2, Mini, or CCR or they could chose to do the letter of the week today which was the letter P. I hope you will join me in going to Erica's blog to see what fantastic creations they are posting for us to enjoy today! Here is the link: http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning

My project today is a gift bag, card and bookmark set that I made for my mom's birthday. I purchased a shiny black bag. To make it coordinate, I used a cut from the Sophie cartridge on page 64. It is the doily feature key cut at 7.06" (sized on my Gypsy). I also cut a rose from the Quarter Note cartridge at 3.75". The layers for the flower were cut with some beautiful pink glitter paper that Erica was so kind to send to me. It really made the bag, card and bookmark so pretty! I cut my card base using black cardstock and it was cut from the Life's A Party cartridge at 8.95" x 5.91" I cut the same flower as what I put on the bag but in a smaller version (2.34"). Finally I used the bookmark feature on the Sophie cartridge and added another rose in the glitter paper. My mom loves James Patterson novels and we bought her the newest one and we thought she needed a new bookmark for her book. I also pop dotted a gift card inside her birthday card. The sentiment was stamped on a tag using a die set that I have.

My Cricut Craft Room's Would you Ever Guess Wednesday

Hi!! Hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday. Today I am featured at My Cricut Craft Room for Would You Ever Guess Wednesday. The challenge for this day each week is to pick a cartridge and use only feature buttons to complete your project. As a design team member we can also pick a Cricut Cake cartridge and make something using it that doesnt involve using a Cake machine. As you all know, all of the Cricut cartridges can be used in any of our PC machines. Since I needed to make a "Thinking of You" card for a fellow Circlet, I chose my Sophie cartridge. This cartridge has a card feature on it and I wanted to try it out. My flower card was cut at 4.53" using my Gypsy. This card feature is super easy and enabled me to create this card in about 10 to 15 minutes. I added some Stickles and a stamped sentiment and I will write a little personal note of encouragement on the inside before mailing it to our friend on the Cricut message board.

To see more amazing projects by my fellow design team members, please visit Erica's blog at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

Thanks for visiting! Dont forget to drop back by on October 1st and 2nd for the monthly 100+ cartridge blog hop. There are always some super awesome projects made by every member of our design team and some fun blog candy along the way! Also, next week, I will be posting another project utilizing another Circle Exclusive cartridge for the Theme Day Thursday blog post.

August Cricut Circle Blog Magazine Challenge

This month's Cricut Circle Blog challenge is to use Cosmo Cricket paper, 3 Cricut cuts and a Cuttlebug folder. I found some of an older line of the Cosmo Cricket in my paper stash and knew I wanted to make this card! The doily is from our new exclusive, Sophie and was cut at 5.5. The black circle was cut at 4.15 using my Gypsy and I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. I cut another circle (circles from George) at around 3.75 from the Cosmo Cricket patterned paper. The cute little owl was cut at 3 and his top layer also features some of the Cosmo Cricket. The owl is from Hoot N Hollar Lite cartridge.
