I have been away from my blog for awhile

I know I have been absent for quite some time.  My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer recently and my family and I have been caring for her.  We spend lots of hours at her house just being with her and doing things that she is no longer able to do.  It is so difficult to see someone you love so much go through this.  I havent really posted a lot about it because I am someone who usually keeps that locked inside.  Her caregiver told me yesterday that she could see how strong I was trying to be and that I need to let it out sometimes.  I am still struggling with that but I will try.  I have some things that I was able to complete that I will be uploading to share.  My hours at work are going to change soon so I hope that means I can start doing some creating again.

One thing I want to leave with you all......Ladies I am talking to you!!  Go get those mammograms!  Dont put it off and think you will be fine.  If you find something suspicious, see your doctor!  Take care of yourself  because not only are you doing it for you...You are doing it for everyone that loves you!

Hugs,
Tracy

Tracy - I am sending you lots of hugs and thoughts are winging their way to you. So sorry to hear about your Mom - I can truly understand how you must be feeling. Its a very difficult and worrying time and you can only be there for your Mom which you obviously are:-) Love'n'hugs. Karon

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and what you're all going through. I'm here to tell you though, that your mom can get better. My husband is on his third round of cancer (lymphoma) and he's doing awesome! He's always maintained that it's all about your attitude. He was first diagnosed in 1996 and his last diagnosis was in 2005. He's doing great! Watch lots of funny movies, play games, do fun things as her physical ability will allow, just keep up her spirits and YOURS TOO, and just know that she will get past this. I'll be thinking about you guys.
