Erica's Craft Room Card Creating Tuesday

Happy New Year everyone!! For today, we had our choice of using the color blue or using a Cuttlebug folder. I decided to use my Cuttlebug and to create a Thinking of You card.

The recipe for my card is:

Card base in black 4.25 x 5.50
White Cuttlebug-ed layer 4 x 5.25
Flower Shoppe - Flower on page 14 cut at 2" and glued to a pearl topped corsage pin.
Sentiment was placed on the Love You A Latte shape on key #47. Cut at 2.25"
Stamp is from Stampin Up Sincere Salutations.

I also wanted to introduce a new product that I used which was sent to me to test and critique. It is Japanese Washi Tape from Sawyer's Place. The website to check out this product is http://www.sawyersplace.bigcartel.com/ Here is a photo of the new rolls that I was sent to try.

Can you see what I did with the tape? I took strips of it and stuck it to some cardstock and then cut out the middle layer for my flower with my E2. It cut so easily and stayed stuck to the cardstock! I also used it to jazz up the ribbon on my card. I started with a wider width pink grosgrain and then put a layer of the same Washi tape on it and it looks wonderful!!

Hope you enjoyed my card today. Please remember to go back over to Erica's blog to see more cards made today by other members of our design team. We have some new members and I dont know about you but I cant wait to see what they have made!! You can visit that blog by going here: http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

Don't forget to come back to visit us all this weekend for the 100 Cartridge Blog Hop!
