Theme Thursday at My Cricut Craft Room

Today's theme is Garden or Flowers. Since I needed a gift card holder, I decided to use the pretty Poinsettia from the new Paper Trimmings cartridge. I designed this gift card holder using my Gypsy. It was so easy. I just took two rectangles from George and a border from Elegant Edges, welded the pieces together and then took a letter C from a cartridge for the notch at the top. I also found a straight cut shape to make the slash marks to hold the card in place. The flower on the front of the holder was cut at 2 inches. I also made two of the top layer and then I embossed it with my Swiss Dots folder and pop dotted it to the flower base. I added a personal note inside the card holder too before mailing it.

For more projects which also includes the added theme of Trees, please go visit Erica's blog and check out all of the beautiful creations posted there! http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/
